Snorefox Medical detects breathing irregularities and respiratory events through intelligent audio analysis of snoring and breathing sound patterns. In other words: Snorefox Medical analyzes your snoring and at the same time performs a risk check to determine whether there are dangerous breathing interruptions during sleep. Snorefox Medical shows you the result of the analysis in a simple traffic light scheme. In this way, Snorefox Medical provides quick guidance as to whether a visit to the doctor is necessary.
The Snorefox app runs on popular smartphones and simply uses the phone's internal microphone for analysis. Technically, it is a combination of acoustic pre-processing, intelligent feature extraction and machine classification. This means that Snorefox can do without special measurement microphones or other special hardware - a major advantage over other solutions.
Snorefox ensures the highest data protection requirements through pseudonymized data processing. At the moment of registration, Snorefox converts your e-mail address into a code, and only this code is transferred to our server, with the aim that the generated analyses can be assigned to your cell phone. This means that your e-mail address remains unknown to us and is never stored on our server with the analyses.
The basic version of Snorefox is available free of charge in the App Store and Play Store. With the free basic version, you can measure the duration and intensity of your snoring. You can get an analysis of your sleep apnea risk with the paid premium version of the app (Snorefox Medical). You can easily upgrade to Snorefox Medical within the app as required. Snorefox Medical is compatible with certain smartphone models that have delivered reliable results in previous tests. However, certain models have not delivered the desired performance in previous tests and can therefore not yet be used with Snorefox Medical.

Compatible smartphones
We are working on extending compatibility to other models, but cannot currently give an exact timeframe. In the meantime, you may have the option of using another device from the list of compatible smartphones.
Snorefox is compatible with most smartphones, but not with laptops, tablets or smartwatches (check compatibility). You may need to update the software on your smartphone to the latest version.
Snorefox is currently only available in Germany and Austria. A concrete timetable for a launch in other countries has not yet been set. To activate the upgrade to sleep apnea risk screening, tap on “Upgrade to risk analysis” within the app. Then tap on “Upgrade now” to be redirected to the App Store or Google Play for payment.

You can activate Snorefox Medical for a one-time payment of €49.99 and get full access for 6 months. Your access is not automatically renewed.
No, you do not need to cancel. Snorefox Medical is not a subscription, but a one-time purchase. Your access expires automatically after 6 months without you having to do anything. If you wish to continue using Snorefox Medical after the 6 months have expired, you can simply purchase access again.
